This has been all round in nature starting on the client side with Nestlé, and including agency roles, freelance qualitative researcher, Research Director at Westcombe Business Research and with others set up Wanford Fieldwork Partnership in 2007.
Education: BSc (joint hons)- in Psychology and Sociology (specialising in the industrial fields) at the University of Surrey.
Specialisms/Interests: Extensive experience of all types of B2B fieldwork across a wide range of markets and particular expertise with hard to reach audiences such as opinion formers and senior business personnel.
Favourite Movies: The Railway Man, James Bond, 12 Years a Slave, Where Eagles Dare, The Quartet, Lord of the Rings.
Favourite Music: The Planet Suite, Jerusalem, Moonlight Sonata, Rule Britannia, Nessun Dorma, Les Ondes, Concierto de Aranjuez, Simon and Garfunkel, Great Balls of Fire, Whiter Shade of Pale.
Hobbies: Racquetball, walking, hiking, gardening, nature and the environment, travel, cooking and eating.
If I wasn’t a market researcher, I’d like to be: A gardener, vet or a counsellor.
Ambition in Life: To be happy, stay healthy, go to bed at night with a clear conscience and do everything to the best of my ability.
